4th June 2013
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: ENE
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: smal chop
Air Temperature: 16
Sea Temperature: 10.7
Weather: sun
Max Speed: 27.4 2 sec (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 22.3 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

A few out rigged 8.5m/118l. Bounced my way over to the river. Could not see way in at low tide and ran aground twice on way in. Tried a several 'speed' runs but scared to go for it as shallow and quite a lot of small chop built up in places; not the mirror I was expecting so sailed out to sea again. Did 27.4knots over 2 secs in the river and 24.3 in open sea. By now sea was smoother and great fun blasting. 8.5m was a bit big and wrenched over chop so was hard work. Good fun though and thanks to Colesy for sailing tips other week, less nose dives.
